Henry attended Saint John’s Infants School before, on 5 February 1900, becoming a pupil at Saint John’s School. In 1900 his family lived at 3 Selby Street. By 1911 they were living at 11 Clemence Street, Lowestoft.

Sidney’s father became a publican and in 1911 Sidney’s family lived at The Vauxhall Tavern, Great Yarmouth, and Sidney worked as an electrician. By 1921 Sidney’s father was the publican at the Fox and Hounds, Filby. Sidney’s father died in 1934 and in 1939 his mother lived at 169 Lowestoft Road, Gorleston.

Elsie was born at Sheffield on 2 August 1892, a daughter of Harry and Clara Elizabeth Rollett. She was baptised at Saint Barnabas Church, Highfield, Sheffield, on 21 August 1892, and her family lived at 48 Highfield Place, Sheffield. By 1901 her family were living at High Street, Wrentham, Suffolk, and in 1911 their home was at Belfast House, High Street, Wrentham.

Alonzo was born at Kessingland on 19 April 1864, a son of George and Sarah Strowger. He was baptised at Saint Edmund’s Church, Kessingland, on 15 May 1864. In 1871 his family lived ‘near the sea’ Kessingland. In 1881 their address was The Beach, Kessingland.
In 1892 Alonzo was the Skipper of the trawler Twilight, LT 178, and in 1900 he was the owner of the trawler Renown.
Edith May Walker
A Civilian, Edith died on 23rd of January 1942 aged 52.
Edith was born at Lowestoft on 14 January 1890, a daughter of Walter Alexander and Matilda Budds. In 1891 her family lived at 55 Tonning Street, and by 1901 they were living at 57 Stanley Street.
In 1911Edith was in domestic service, working for Alice Ditchfield at Belvoir Villa, 1 Church Road.
On 23 September 1924 Edith married Albert Edward Walker at Saint John’s Church. Albert was a shop assistant living at 35 Saint George’s Road, and Edith lived at 57 Stanley Street.
