A Skipper with the Trawler Mistletoe (Lowestoft). William died on 7th of May 1919 at the age of 52. 

William was born at Wangford, by Southwold, in 1867, a son of Joseph and Mary Ann Cooper. He was baptised at Wangford on 2 June 1867. In 1871 he was living with his grandparents, William and Mary Ann Easter, at Henstead. In 1881 William lived at Mill Lane, Corton, and he worked as a cow boy.  

A Chief Stoker with H.M.S. Shrapnel, Henry died on 18th of March 1944 at the age of 52. 

Henry was born at Lowestoft on 14 April 1892, a son of George and Jane Davis. He was baptised at Saint John’s Church, Lowestoft, on 10 June 1892, and his family lived at 3 Selby Street, Lowestoft. Henry attended Saint John’s Infants School before, on 5 February 1900, becoming a pupil at Saint John’s School. In 1900 his family lived at 3 Selby Street. By 1911 they were living at 11 Clemence Street, Lowestoft. 

A Deck Hand with Fishing Vessel Westfield (Milford Haven), William died on 6th of July 1941 at the age of 52.

William was born at Pakefield on 6 September 1889, a son of William and Mary Ann Flowers. In 1891 his family lived at 6 Beach Street, Pakefield. In 1901 William was living with his grandparents at Francis Terrace, Carlton Colville. In 1911 he was living with his grandparents at Blacksmiths Bottom, Oulton Broad, and William worked as a fisherman. 

A Civilian, Laura died on 13th of January 1942 aged 52. 

Laura was born at Lowestoft on 17 April 1889, a daughter of George Rix and Mary Ann Gall. She was baptised at Christ Church, Lowestoft, on 29 May 1889 and her family lived at Whapload House, Whapload Road. By 1901 Laura’s family were living at 8 Seago Street. 

A Civilian, Sidney died on 12th of May 1943 aged 52. 

Sidney was born at Great Yarmouth on 19 May 1890, a son of James Benjamin and Jane Gibbs. In 1891 his family lived at 7 Nelson Terrace, Great Yarmouth, and by 1901 their home was at 48 Market Place, Great Yarmouth. Sidney’s father became a publican and in 1911 Sidney’s family lived at The Vauxhall Tavern, Great Yarmouth, and Sidney worked as an electrician. By 1921 Sidney’s father was the publican at the Fox and Hounds, Filby. Sidney’s father died in 1934 and in 1939 his mother lived at 169 Lowestoft Road, Gorleston.  

A Civilian, Elsie died on 10th of October 1944 aged 52. 

Elsie was born at Sheffield on 2 August 1892, a daughter of Harry and Clara Elizabeth Rollett. She was baptised at Saint Barnabas Church, Highfield, Sheffield, on 21 August 1892, and her family lived at 48 Highfield Place, Sheffield. By 1901 her family were living at High Street, Wrentham, Suffolk, and in 1911 their home was at Belfast House, High Street, Wrentham.

A Cook with Steam Trawler Labrador (Lowestoft), Samuel died on 23rd of January 1915 at the age of 52. 

Samuel was born at Pakefield in 1861, a son of Henry Lincoln and Matilda Martin. In 1871 his family lived at 10 Sustins Cottages, High Street, Pakefield. In 1881 they lived at 11 Stone Alley, Pakefield, and Samuel was a fisherman. 

A Civilian, William died on 10th of August 1941 at the age of 52. 

William was born at Clapham, London, on 27 March 1889. William married Georgina Honor Nobbs, at Lowestoft, in 1915, 

In 1921 William and Georgina were living at 32 Seago Street, and William had his own business as a tennis racket manufacturer, with premises at 155 London Road, Lowestoft.  

A Skipper with H.M. Drifter Clover Bank, Alonzo died on 24th of April 1916 at the age of 52. 

Alonzo was born at Kessingland on 19 April 1864, a son of George and Sarah Strowger. He was baptised at Saint Edmund’s Church, Kessingland, on 15 May 1864. In 1871 his family lived ‘near the sea’ Kessingland. In 1881 their address was The Beach, Kessingland.

In 1892 Alonzo was the Skipper of the trawler Twilight, LT 178, and in 1900 he was the owner of the trawler Renown. 

A Civilian, Edith died on 23rd of January 1942 aged 52. 

Edith was born at Lowestoft on 14 January 1890, a daughter of Walter Alexander and Matilda Budds. In 1891 her family lived at 55 Tonning Street, and by 1901 they were living at 57 Stanley Street.

In 1911Edith was in domestic service, working for Alice Ditchfield at Belvoir Villa, 1 Church Road.  

On 23 September 1924 Edith married Albert Edward Walker at Saint John’s Church. Albert was a shop assistant living at 35 Saint George’s Road, and Edith lived at 57 Stanley Street.
