Ronald Alfred Lark

A Steward with H.M. Trawler Tervani. Ronald died on 7th of February 1943 at the age of 31. 

Ronald was born at Lowestoft on 19 October 1911, a son of William Alfred and Rose Elizabeth Lark. He was baptised at Saint Margaret's Church on 10 November 1911. His family lived at 31 Cambridge Road, Lowestoft. In 1939 his family lived at 60 Queens Road and Ronald worked as a wharf labourer.  

Ronald married Edith Kathleen Buck at Norwich in 1940. 

Ronald was serving on the minesweeping trawler Tervani, off Cape Bougaroni, Algeria, when the trawler was torpedoed and sunk by the Italian submarine Platino. Twenty crew, including Ronald, were killed.
