Formerly an Engineman with the Royal Naval Reserve, William died on 3rd of July 1917 at the age of 41. William was born at Elvington, Yorkshire, on 9 March 1876, a son of Maria Smallwood. By 1881 he was living with his mother, siblings, and stepfather, at Hadenham, Norfolk. In 1891 he was working as a farm servant at The Farm House, Shipmeadow, Suffolk. (Note in the 1881 and 1891 Censuses his surname is given as Shulver, which was his mother's surname from 1877 onwards).  RNR Service records
A Second Hand with H.M. Drifter Dewey, Robert died on 12th of August 1917 at the age of 50. Robert was born at Lowestoft on 27 September 1867, a son of Robert and Agnes Clara Hall. Robert was baptised at Saint Margaret’s Church, Lowestoft, on 7 June 1868. In 1871 his family lived at Rant Score East. By 1881 they were living at 5 Raglan Street North. In 1891 Robert lived at 11 Barsham Square, East Street, and it seems that Robert was a ‘shoreman’.  RNR Service records
A Deck Hand with H.M. Drifter Ocean Fisher, William died on 16th of June 1918.William was born at Oulton Broad on 6 July 1897, a son of William and Katherine Mingay. He was baptised at Saint Mark’s Church, Oulton Broad, on 9 September 1897. In 1901 his family lived at South Elmham Terrace, and by 1911 they were living at 83 Kimberley Road. In 1915 William lived at 28 Lorne Road, Kirkley.  RNR Service records
